You can taste the difference in its creamy texture and naturally sweet, buttery richness.

Butternut squash are a nutrient-dense food offering several essential vitamins and minerals including Vitamin C, Potassium, Magnesium, B Vitamins (like B6, folate and niacin), manganese, and anti-inflammatory polyphenols.

For centuries, cultures around the world have revered butternut squash for its healing properties and nourishing benefits. Traditional Chinese Medicine considers it a warming food that strengthens digestion, supports the spleen and stomach, and boosts Qi (vital energy). Ayurveda recognizes it as grounding and nourishing, while promoting digestive comfort and immune resilience. Indigenous American cultures valued winter squash as a staple crop, rich in nutrients that sustain energy, support fertility, and promote overall vitality. Andean traditions viewed squash as a healing food that soothes inflammation, supports digestion, and restores strength—often incorporated into broths and stews for its restorative properties.

Across these traditions, butternut squash has been cherished for its ability to provide sustained energy, support digestion, and enhance overall well-being.

Just as our ancestors relied on winter squash for sustenance, butternut squash is a natural storage crop that can last all season when kept in a cool, dark, and dry place (ideally 45-65°F). Store it properly, and enjoy its rich sweetness and nutritional benefits for months.

THANK YOU

I just want to send you a heartfelt THANK YOU for all the food you provide. I do not take lightly how difficult it is and how much work it takes. We just received our veggie box and I'm so impressed. I gotta say I was a little worried about how it would look on arrival, and I'm thrilled to tell you everything looks fantastic! You don't know what it means to me for my family, not having to buy produce at Kroger through the summer. I have MCAS (mast cell activation syndrome) and can smell the mold on organic vegetables and fruit from a foot away. So what's the alternative, buying conventional that's soaked in pesticides? It's like being forced to pick your poison. So again, thank you, thank you, for what you're doing!

Pure, Raw & Unfiltered

Our raw and unfiltered honey is just as nature intended—straight from the hive, untouched by heat or processing, with all its natural enzymes, polyphenols, flavonoids and beneficial compounds intact. Unlike mass-produced honey, which is often heated and filtered to improve shelf stability, our honey retains its full nutritional profile, including pollen, propolis, and natural enzymes that support digestion and immune health. The result? A rich, complex flavor and a powerhouse of nutrients in every spoonful.

Many commercial honey products are not what they seem—some are ultra-processed and heated, stripping away the beneficial properties, while others are even adulterated with high fructose corn syrup or other cheap sweeteners. At Nourish Food Club, we believe honey should be pure, unaltered, and as close to its natural state as possible. Our raw honey is never heated, never filtered, and never blended with additives—just the real, golden nectar straight from the hive.

Chemical Free Behives

Most commercial honey comes from large-scale operations that rely on synthetic chemicals at nearly every stage of honey production. Pesticides like neonicotinoids and glyphosate are commonly used in industrial agriculture, contaminating the nectar and pollen that bees collect. These chemicals have been linked to declining bee populations and can leave residues in honey. Inside the hive, many large producers use antibiotics to prevent bacterial infections and synthetic miticides to control Varroa mites, both of which can linger in beeswax and honey, affecting purity and quality.

At Nourish Food Club, our beekeepers take a different approach. Our raw honey comes from bees that forage on clean, diverse landscapes, free from chemical exposure. Our beekeepers never use antibiotics or synthetic treatments in our hives, ensuring the integrity of the honey from hive to jar.
